Closing worship song #3  Lord, How Majestic You Are - Stuart Townend

We are not able to source a suitable video for this amazing song so here is a live audio recording and the lyrics are below.

"This song, based on Psalm 8, is actually the first worship song I ever wrote. I love the way the Psalm beautifully expresses our sense of insignificance in the vastness of creation (a perspective only intensified by our modern knowledge of just how vast the universe is), which makes it all the more amazing that God should value and love us so much. It causes us to respond in love and worship with every breath He gives us."  -  Stuart Townend

Lord, how majestic you are,
My eyes meet Your gaze
And my burden is lifted.
Your word is a lamp to my feet,
Your hand swift to bless
And Your banner a shield.

You are my everything,
You who made earth and sky and sea;
All that You’ve placed inside of me
Calls out Your name.
To You, I bow:
The King who commands my every breath,
The Man who has conquered sin and death,
My Lord and my King;
My everything.

Lord, how resplendent You are,
When I think of Your heavens,
The work of Your fingers;
What is man, that You are mindful of him?
Yet You’ve crowned him with glory
And caused him to reign?

What should I expect when I visit the church?

You will receive a very warm welcome and we do not sit in pews, instead we have comfy chairs which can easily be moved around for flexibility. We normally start with a time of uplifting worship music, followed by biblical teaching and sharing our faith in Jesus.

Tea and coffee refreshments are served after the service at around 12pm.

What happens to the children at church?

We have a Sunday school for the little ones, kids and teenagers, and they go out to their supervised groups just before the main word/sermon.

I have more questions, how can I get in touch and ask them.

Please feel free to contact us.

Everyone is welcome, come as you are, we would love to see you here one Sunday morning.
